CEER Automotive Project
Structural and concreting quality control on Saudi Arabia's first national electric-vehicle manufacturing facility.
CEER's electric-vehicle manufacturing complex is being developed in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). The project was awarded to Modern Building Leaders (MBL) under a SAR 5 billion construction contract and covers a site of more than 1 million square metres. Haris worked on the project as a QA/QC Engineer with MBL, supporting structural and concreting works.
Structural and concreting activities on a large industrial project require inspection and testing to keep pace with construction. Haris's role focused on checking work against approved requirements, coordinating inspections and testing, and maintaining the quality records needed to track approvals, non-conformities and handover documentation.
- Managed QA/QC activities for structural and concreting works against project specifications and approved requirements.
- Prepared and implemented Inspection & Test Plans and method statements for concreting, excavation, waterproofing and repair activities.
- Coordinated material inspection and testing for concrete, soil and other construction materials.
- Reviewed Work Inspection Requests and maintained NCR and corrective-action records through closure.
- Coordinated with site engineers, technicians and contractors during inspections and testing.
- Maintained quality records, test reports and handover documentation for completed works.
